Personal Tips for Copying Music to Your iPod Without iTunes

!±8± Personal Tips for Copying Music to Your iPod Without iTunes

With the development of digital technology, more and more digital products are used universally in our life. iPod becomes the best welcomed friend for more and more people all over the world. I have an iPod too and I usually make mistakes when I copy audio/video files between iPod and my PC. For example, I often do not find the files on my iPod or PC that I copied just now. I want to copy a song to/from my iPod but I do not know which one I should select and so on. What a terrible thing it is! Fortunately, I catch sight of a utility which can copy songs from iPod to PC easily on the Internet when I am surfing on-line. Some useful software can help us to do this.

The first software is iPod2PC, with iPod2PC we can easily copy/restore our songs, play lists, videos and podcasts from our iPod back to our iTunes music library or to any folder on our PC. It supports automatic import in iTunes, including our "My Rating", "Play Count" and "Last Played" information from the iPod songs. iPod2PC offers very fast searching and a browse mode which makes finding songs on the iPod easy. With the sophisticated song selection method (via context menu), choosing desired groups of songs for copying is also very fast and easy. Just do a right click on any song in the song list to invoke the special context menu, which enables us to check/uncheck all or specific groups of songs for copying. The list of shown songs can be sorted ascending/descending by song name, artist, album and other properties by clicking on the header of a column. The program can be run directly from our iPod, so we can carry it with us wherever we go. The program lets us browse our songs by album, artist or genre, and also provide a search feature to locate specific items.

Another great product is iDump, iDump supports output templates and can automatically create folders based on the artist and song information. You can also search your iPod by keyword, create a playlist from the selected songs and set rules for unattended transfers. Standalone, can run from your iPod.

The third software is Sharepod, Sharepod is a small software that runs directly from your iPod and allows you to transfer your songs from your iPod to the PC it is currently connected to - without the need to have iTunes installed on the PC. You can also search through your content, play selected tracks and delete songs from the device. Sharepod also includes an option to copy files from your PC to your iPod, but this feature is no longer supported for newer iPods and should be used with caution or not at all.

Going Wireless - The Bose 1-2-3 5.1 Surround System

!±8± Going Wireless - The Bose 1-2-3 5.1 Surround System

Time was when we huddled round a black and white TV with mono broadcast listening to programmes through mono speakers and we thought it was the greatest thing ever. But time moved on, broadcasters began to broadcast in stereo, and the advent, first of VCR's, then DVD players and now state of the art Blu-Ray players have meant we can be awed by TV programmes and blockbuster movies in just the way dedicated and very picky sound engineers spent countless hours and many millions to achieve.

So once you have your monster flat screen TV with its crystal clear High Definition picture, don't go thinking that you're all set. You need to treat your ears to the latest in wireless hi-fi surround speakers. Wireless speakers for TV are a blessing because you can dispense with all the spaghetti that used to spill out of your amplifier and require acres of carefully nailed up wiring to deliver the effects wireless speakers can deliver, well...wirelessly. You can place wireless TV speakers for TV virtually anywhere so long as the receiver can reach them, but if you get it wrong, you can expect a lot of static.

Be warned, it's a buyer's jungle out there, and you need to work your way through the forest of wireless speakers for TV brands and performance capabilities to arrive at the sound system that's right for your size of living room. In the world of wireless speakers for TV, there's all the usual suspects such as Bose,Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Samsung, and some you may not have heard of such as Grace, Acoustic Research and Audio Unlimited and many more.

Don't think for one moment you can get onto the internet, Google 'Wireless Speakers for TV' and buy the first set-up you see. If your idea of shopping for electronics is just to buy the best you could easily opt for a top of the line speaker system with a woofer so powerful that the neighbours call the police every time a movie shootout occurs!

Once you know exactly what you want, and you have determined your budget, then is the time to get online and start punching in wireless speakers for TV brands and model numbers to look at prices. Many online retailers will offer free shipping, fast delivery and keen prices, but then you have to balance that with the fact that some good audio stores can send an expert to your house to advise on setting up the system. You may be able to negotiate a good price with your local store and get the expertise.

Make the right investment for the right price and wireless speakers for TV will provide you with hours of top flight enjoyment and audio entertainment that will greatly enhance every show you watch.
